This is an exciting time in our Marketing Eye Atlanta office where we are opening up a new position for a senior marketing executive. The perfect person would like to work with a team in their twenties, some of whom have significant experience with the company - one with almost 5 years’ experience and the other with 2 and a half years’ experience. This team will blow your mind as their skills and knowledge are second to none. They have passion and drive to build the business, and know the company's processes inside out and back to front.
This week's publicity stunt by Jeff Bezos, the CEO of Amazon is nothing short of an award winning, revenue generating, share price drive guaranteed to ensure that less educated people who cannot see through this manipulative PR stunt, go out and either buy shares or purchase on Amazon ultimately making Jeff Bezos richer.
Is anyone else caught up in the euphoria of the new year? I can’t stop thinking about my life, where I am going, and what I want to be doing.

Atlanta’s Biggest Business Conundrum

When I first opened an office in Atlanta I had no idea just how big the state of Georgia really was. While everyone knows Atlanta hosts the busiest airport on the planet, it also is the fourth largest home to Fortune 100 companies in the country.
The start of a new year always comes with the best intentions and why not? You and your team have come back from an extended holiday relaxed and ready to tackle the new year with the same enthusiasm you wished you had at the year end.

Yesterday was my first day back in the office and it was remarkable to see how much work everyone had done with a one-day head start. They were enthusiastic, strategic thinking and were ready to take the business to the next level.

Where is Marketing heading in 2018?

I sat down in a bar next to the Dean of Marketing at one of America’s most prestigious Universities, and we discussed the future in marketing.

I proudly told him about Robotic Marketer, a robotic and AI technology based solution that writes marketing strategies in minutes, that are more intuitive, smarter and results orientated than any human being could ever do.

As I discussed the details of how the Robotic Marketer works, he exclaimed “you are disrupting the industry”. This is the future. And it is.

Why every marketing team needs a data scientist

Speaking to a Professor at one of America's largest Universities the other day in Atlanta, was an eye-sight into how slow many universities are moving in creating educational programs for marketers to have jobs in the future.

This particular University, isn't sitting by the side-line. In fact, they are leading the way and have added Data Science to the program, and are ensuring that each and every person who does a marketing degree has an opportunity to learn about data science and all that it encompasses.

The cut-throat world of marketing performance

Ultimately companies are looking for two things; increase their brand awareness and more sales. The role that marketing plays in this is pivotal, and as we move closer to understanding marketing analytics across the entire spectrum of marketing, we are realizing that marketing performance is not only getting more cut-throat, and precise, with amateur or lazy marketers being caught out - but it is also getting more 'real'.

I'm feeling nostalgic about Atlanta

Waking up today, I have to say, I am feeling quite nostalgic about Atlanta and all it means to me over the past 5 years.

I came here with little or no expectations, just a desire to try something new. From there, and the people I met, something ticked. For many Atlanta appears from the outset to be quite sleepy, but once you cut through the leafy streets, and the urban sprawl, there is so much more depth.
